And now I have all these empty bottles....

It wasn't that long ago-- a year, maybe-- that I absolutely hated diet pop.
Diet Coke? Bleccchh. Diet Pepsi? Same thing.
Diet anything else? Gag me.
Now, although I still wouldn't categorize it as delicious, I find myself drinking it more often. In fact, I hardly ever have the "real" stuff anymore.
I used to call diet pop/soda a "chemical swamp" because it tasted so fake and was full of God-knows-how-many chemicals.
It'd be ironic if I was actually making myself less healthy by dumping all that junk in my system.
I can see the news now: "If only she'd stayed fat instead of drinking all that diet pop, she might have lived at least 20 more years..."

Oh, don't worry, I'm eating fiber and whole grains and fruits and all that other stuff too. Let's just say I have become intimately acquainted with the intestinal turmoil that can be wreaked by a big bowl of Kellogg's All-Bran.

So far I've lost 66 pounds.
That's more than what my grandmother weighs. (!!!)

I should drink and eat more diet everything because I could stand to lose about 50 pounds myself. But I hate the taste of diet Coke, so I'll probably die smiling with a can of regular Coke in my hand.

That said, what is this other Janna-based blog? I had no idea it existed, and I'm excited to find it because it's a little more personal than your other one.

Congratulations on losing 66 pounds, which is so awesome it's hard to describe, although not as interesting as losing 666 pounds, which is more than Damian weighs.

66 pounds, that's a lot.
I see how you have worked hard to reach your goal.

I hate diet sodas too, though for some weird reason, really cold diet Sprite helped me quite smoking.

But the answer is water. Oh, that and cosmopolitans.

No, no ,no. That was supposed to be "quit smoking."
