Tuesday's ensemble rehearsal was okay, but we still have a lot of rough edges.
We have intonation problems, balance issues, and some of us (I won't mention any names) have a real problem paying attention to the director.
It seems like I always notice these things three times as much when we're playing one of my compositions. I listen to the rehearsal, I know what notes I wrote, and I know when those notes are not being played correctly.
It's frustrating to hear so many mistakes all at once.
Why do I keep on writing music at all?
