It's true.
Well, maybe not "bangers and mash", but almost everything else is fair game.
If I lived there I'd spend plenty of time traveling so I could get a full appreciation for the culture and the scenes of daily life throughout the country. I could take weekend breaks, short breaks, city breaks, whatever my schedule and finances permitted. I would love to attend symphony concerts and see where famous compositions (like Handel's Messiah) were first performed.
And once I'd done that, I could start exploring the rest of the world as well. I could see Paris, Rome, Prague, Vienna...
Definitely Vienna. For Mozart's sake. :)
