Melting my money away

MM-bluetextIt is the middle of summer here.
Very hot.
This past week it got up into the 90's.
Very humid.
I am craving ice cream.
There's an ice cream stand in Jonesville called "The Udder Side". They're usually popular with the locals, but I've heard an increased amount of murmuring lately because they keep raising their prices. Again and again and again. Every year. It's gotten to the point where I simply can't afford it anymore.
Other people have said the same thing.

A small (SMALL!!!) soft serve ice cream cone is $1.50.
I don't know what it usually costs where you live, but around here, that's terribly expensive.

I think that's way too much to pay for something that will be gone after just a few licks.
.
Sooooo, I'm going to the store, where I will choose from the vast array of flavors in the ice cream aisle. I'll get a LOT more for my money that way, and I can pig out in the privacy of my own home.

Or I could just stand on the corner with a sign that says "Looking for something to lick for free", but something tells me I might not quite get what I'm hoping for.

The market will control the price. They've already lost you as a customer because you can get a lot more ice cream for your money at the grocery.

About the "lick for free" idea: Do you live anywhere near Mo's birthplace?

lmbo hAHAHA

Yeah, I'd so no to the sign as well...as far as the price of ice cream. Have you not ever been to a Coldstone?! A small bowl with chocolate crunch base is about 5.50??!*#! I know. *egads*

Happy MM.

The Udder Side - isn't that where they have the Double Burning Butt Burger?
