Mexican Mildness

Today I went out for dinner with my folks. We tried a Mexican restaurant in town where I'd never gone before. It was ok. I ordered a "Hot and Spicy Burrito". It was not really very hot at all, spicewise. It was, however, about as big as my arm. I can't believe I finished the whole thing!
It had chicken, ground beef, shredded beef, and beef tips.
It did NOT have nearly enough cheese on it. I like lots of cheese on my Mexican stuff, and this just had a few tiny sprinklings on top as an afterthought. Plus, some rice would have been nice.
Maybe some additional garlic, salt, cumin, chili powder, and cayenne would have been nice too. Spice that sucker up! Don't call it "hot and spicy" if it's actually bland and mild!
Still, not bad. I think next time I'll try an enchilada.
One of these days I'd like to unleash MY version of Mexican cooking on the world.

I like my Mexican food to have flavor too... luckily I live in the right part of the country for that. There isn't a single non-chain restaurant in town that doesn't serve mexican food... except the Vietnemese place.

Marilyn: I've never been to a Vietnamese place... I wonder what kind of food they have.
