There's nothing that can compare to the flavor of fresh blueberries. I love it when blueberry season is here in Michigan. It's been over now for a couple months and I miss it already.
Oh, sure, there are blueberry-FLAVORED things, but it's just not the same, people. I got some Trident gum the other day which is "Wild Blueberry Twist" flavored.
I was disappointed. It just doesn't taste as intensely fruity as I wanted it to. It doesn't capture the essence of juicy fresh blueberries.
Now I will have to wait until next summer.
I am sad about that.
