Manic Monday: Orange

I love the flavor of orange, mixed with chocolate.
Once in awhile it's possible to fine chocolate-covered orange peel. The peel is cut into strips and candied so it's sweet like marmalade. Then it's dipped into either milk chocolate or dark chocolate. (The dark is my favorite).
I love it but it's really hard to find.
Also there are chocolates in the size and shape of an orange, cut into wedges, with orange flavoring in them. I've had those and they're decent too. My favorite is still the actual strips of candied peel.
Another thing I love is a hot fudge sundae made with orange sherbet.
Yum.

I'm an odd duck, the only thing I like with my chocolate, is caramel. However, if I must have fruit with it, then it should be orange.

Those orange shaped chocolates that break apart in weges are wonderful. The flavor orange is so luscious and intense.

we buy those chocolate "oranges" every year for the holidays. They started making them with min too and I like that a lot. The candied orange sounds even better.

I'm with Nancy, I love chocolate and caramel. of course hot fudge pretty much tastes good on anything. Because our school mascot is an orange, I've seen plenty of chocolate oranges.

Your post made me smile. My daughter loves to eat chocolate while drinking orange juice!

I've never considered the mix of orange and chocolate. Somehow the idea doesn't a-peel to me.
