There's e-mail and e-everything-else, so of course it stands to reason that there would be e-mortgages too. In an emortgage, the documents are converted into an electronic format called a SMARTdoc. I imagine it would be a lot faster than the old-fashioned way. And if it uses less paper, then it's probably better for the environment.
Well, that and the fact that I LOVE paper, so this way there's more left over for me to enjoy. :)
