Brynden's cold is getting worse.I'm taking him to the vet in about an hour.
He sneezes a LOT, and he just seems to be miserable.
He isn't nearly as active as usual, and isn't interested in playing anymore.
Usually he likes to snuggle up in bed next to me when I sleep, but last night he was missing. He'd hidden somewhere by himself all night long.
Since I have this afternoon off, I made a vet appointment for 2:30.

UPDATE: We're back from the vet's. Brynden has an upper respiratory infection and is going to be on antibiotics for the next week. He had one of these about five years ago, and is going to be on the exact same medication he was then.

I don't think they get the same cold virus that we get.
But I'm glad it's just an URI.
Time to get some Lysine and add it to their food dish.
I need to start grinding some myself... multiple cat households are prone to periodic URIs.

I hope he feels better soon. I never thought of the Lysine thing. I wonder if we have any (Andy might have some hidden in a drawer someplace). Is there any reason not to give it to dogs?
