I love looking through cookbooks but I rarely make any of the recipes in them. I treat them as picture books, I guess, looking at all the pretty pictures of casseroles and hors d'ouvres and desserts. If there are no pictures, I wistfully imagine what the finished dish would look like and taste like.
But of course I can't be bothered to actually prepare the recipe.
No, that would be too much work.
Apparently I am lazy.
Who knew?
